SIMPLEFIX.AIPrivacy Policy
Effective date: July 30, 2026
SimpleFix.AI is designed as a local-first website security scanning application. We do not sell personal information or use the app to serve advertising.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Gladiator Technology LLC (“we,” “us,” or “SimpleFix.AI”) handles information when you use the SimpleFix.AI desktop application and its locally hosted interface.
2. Information the app handles
To provide its scanning, analysis, proofreading, and notification features, the app may handle:
- website addresses you enter or discover during a crawl;
- HTML and related publicly available content retrieved from websites you choose to scan;
- scan results, timestamps, detected software and security findings, and content-change information;
- words you choose to accept for proofreading; and
- browser push-subscription details, if you enable push notifications.
3. Local storage and retention
SimpleFix.AI stores its working data locally on the device or server where the app runs. This includes scan targets, scan results, notification settings, accepted spellings, and downloaded source snapshots. Source snapshots are retained for up to 30 days; the latest snapshot is retained as the current copy unless you remove the app’s local data. Your browser may also store limited local settings, such as recent scan URLs and display state.
4. Network connections
When you ask the app to crawl or scan a website, it connects to that website to retrieve the content needed for the requested analysis. The operator of the scanned website may receive ordinary connection information, such as the IP address of the device or server running SimpleFix.AI, the time of the request, and a SimpleFix.AI crawler user-agent.
The analysis view loads the Monaco editor from cdnjs. If you open that view, cdnjs may receive standard web-request information. Links to National Vulnerability Database records open only when you select them. The app does not send your scan content to those services for analysis.
5. Notifications
If you enable browser push alerts, your browser provides a push subscription that is stored locally and used to deliver the notifications you request. The relevant push provider processes the information necessary to deliver the alert under its own privacy terms.
6. How we use information
We use the information handled by the app only to operate the features you request: crawling and scanning selected websites, showing findings and saved source history, checking spelling, and delivering enabled notifications. We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or knowingly collect information for unrelated marketing purposes.
7. Sharing
SimpleFix.AI does not transmit your local scan records to Gladiator Technology LLC as part of normal app operation. Information may be disclosed to the external services described above only when you use a feature that requires a connection to them. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or to protect the security, rights, or safety of users and others.
8. Your choices
You control which websites are scanned and whether notifications are enabled. You may remove scan targets, clear accepted spellings, unsubscribe from push notifications, or delete the app’s local data to remove locally stored information. Removing local data may also remove saved scan history and notification configuration.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the local-first design of the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for securing the device, local account, and any server on which you run SimpleFix.AI, and for ensuring you have authority to scan the websites you submit.
10. Children
SimpleFix.AI is a professional security tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes or legal requirements evolve. The updated version will appear in this file with a revised effective date.
